Social Groups & Community Activities
At ABC Disability Group, our Social Groups & Community Access are all about getting out into the community, having fun, building confidence and creating meaningful friendships.
From our weekly Wednesday Night Bowling to our fortnightly Girls Group and Guys Night, participants have regular opportunities to socialise, explore the community, try new activities and develop their independence in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
Whether it’s enjoying a meal out, heading to the movies, trying a new activity or simply spending time with friends, our focus is on connection, inclusion, choice and making lasting memories in the community.
🎳 Weekly Bowling League
Our Weekly Bowling League runs for 50 weeks of the year, offering participants a fun and consistent opportunity to socialise, build friendships, develop confidence and enjoy being part of a team.
The program includes two nights of league bowling each week, with a home-cooked dinner included so everyone can sit down, eat and enjoy time together.
🚐 Transport Included – Pick-ups are available from school, home, work or another service, with transport provided by our team of support workers or a specialised taxi service to Whittlesea. Participants are also dropped safely back home at the end of the night.
🍽️ Dinner Included – Participants enjoy dinner together as part of the program.

🪩 Fortnightly Disco Night
Get ready for an epic night of music, dancing, games and fun! Our Disco Night runs every second week and gives participants a great opportunity to socialise, make friends and enjoy a night out in a fun and supportive environment.
🎶 Disco Room – Dance the night away to your favourite music!
🎮 Games Room – Hang out with friends, play games and enjoy some friendly competition.
🎤 Karaoke Room – Grab the microphone and sing your favourite songs!
🍽️ Home-Cooked Dinner Included – Participants can enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal together as part of the night.
🚐 Transport Available – Pick-ups are available from school, home or work, with transport provided by our team of support workers or a specialised taxi service to Whittlesea. Participants are safely dropped back home at the end of the night.

Each Girls Night offers something different, with activities including pamper nights, movies, shopping, dining out, creative activities and exciting community outings. It’s a great opportunity for participants to socialise, build confidence, try new things and enjoy a fun night out with the girls.

Our Guys Night runs every second Friday and is all about getting out, having fun, building friendships and enjoying new experiences together!
Each Guys Night offers something different, with activities including arcades, movies, sports, gaming, bowling, dining out and exciting community outings. It’s a great opportunity for participants to socialise, build confidence, develop independence and enjoy a relaxed night out with the guys.

🌆🚐 Saturday Adventures – Exploring Melbourne
Get ready to explore Melbourne with us every Saturday! Our Saturday Adventures run for 50 weeks of the year, giving participants the opportunity to get out into the community, discover new places, make friends and enjoy exciting new experiences.
🕘 Every Saturday – 9:00am to 5:00pm
Each week brings a different adventure! We’ll explore Melbourne and surrounding areas, visiting attractions, events, markets, parks, beaches, activities and plenty of other exciting destinations.
🌙 Evening Activities
From time to time, our Saturday program may include a special evening or nighttime activity, depending on what’s happening around Melbourne.
🚐 Pick-Up & Drop-Off Included
We make getting involved easy, with pick-up and drop-off included. Our team will get participants to and from the day’s activities safely.
